I haven't gotten a whole lot done today except a few machine embroidery designs. I most always make practice designs before putting them on anything. This way I can play with colors, learn the actual size of the design, how to place turn them and see if they sew out well. I get a lot of my designs from different places and I want to see them before I put them on a quilt or something and wish I had sewn them first. They always sew out much prettier than they look on the computer. I just love playing around with these. Reason for doing the lady bugs, I am going to put them on the Mystery Quilt we did at the Lawrence County Quilted Treasures Quilt Guild. I better get busy cause our next meeting is Monday. I would like to get these sewn on and the border before then.

Lots Done
I started yesterday evening making preemie baby gowns for twins. I finished them today and also quilted two small quilts for them. I love to make vintage gowns although don't know if these are considered vintage or not cause they were very simple with no embroidery or extra stitching on them. My daughter took them to their grandpa for him to deliver them.
Also, sent the pink pull toy embroidery quilt to a friend of Monica's from school. She had her 3rd child yesterday. I digitized these pull toys with Customizer 10000 Plus when I first got my embroidery machine.
This is a redwork baby quilt I quilted for Kay Ward from Martin County. Redwork is one of my favorites. She did a really good job on it.
Preemie Gown
Not much quilting lately, I have just quilted a wall hanging and a baby quilt. Still not done with the binding on the baby quilt but will post it when I finish with it. Tonight I been making a couple preemie baby gowns. Monica, my daughter, friends daughter had twin preemies, one is 2 lb 8oz and the other is 2 lb 4 oz. I also want to make a couple of small quilts for them. I got them sandwiched together and ready to quilt. I have the other gown ready to put the sleeves in it and sew it together but to tired to finish it tonight.

Martha's Jelly Roll
Here is the latest. Just finished quilting this one for Martha. She is one of my best customers. She made this from Jelly Rolls. She made it for her neighbor's son that is getting married or maybe got married last weekend. I was having problems with thread breaking and didn't get it finished in time. Sorry about that Martha. It is a beautiful quilt. She is good with colors. I am sure he will like it if he knows anything about quilts.
I guess I won't be quilting anymore till after the holiday. I have the next couple of days to clean house and do some work on a sermon CD for our pastor. I hope everyone has a joyous 4th of July. We always take the grandkids to the parade and sometimes fireworks in town but if not in town we live in the country and can have our own fireworks.
